Unidata, which is associated with NCAR the largest atmospheric research institution in the United States, is the home of IDV software. The GEON IDV extends the Unidata IDV, adding support for displays and data types used in solid Earth geophysics and geology.
The Unidata Support web site includes online support resources, including forums, mailing lists, support archives and email help for IDV questions. There is an active IDV user community with email discussions (Unidata's "idvusers" email list). IDV support email sent to Unidata which proves to be about GEON IDV code or use is forwarded to UNAVCO. You can contact UNAVCO directly for questions about the GEON IDV.
