Unidata, which is associated with NCAR the largest atmospheric research institution in the United States, is the home of core IDV software. Unidata's IDV is the core of the GEON IDV. The GEON IDV extends the Unidata IDV. The Unidata Support web site includes online support resources, including forums, mailing lists, support archives and email help for IDV questions. There is an active IDV user community with email discussions (Unidata's idvusers email list).
